Anna Garafolo

Anna grew up in a small Italian town on the Amalfi Coast. Her upbringing – rich with love and tradition – instilled in her the value of family and hard work. Learning the foundations of Italian cuisine at a very young age, Anna understands the effects and necessity of healthy meals that feed the body and the heart.

In 2004 Anna joined her brother, Campo’s chef Guiseppe Garofalo, in Aspen, Colorado. In Aspen, after working with some of the greatest chefs and restaurants that an international mountain town has to offer, Anna joined the Campo team. As Anna often says, "We eat with our eyes!" and she certainly has a sought after knack for appealing to ones senses in every way. And even more importantly, Anna Garofalo is a woman of her word. She isn't capable of delivering anything but the very best.

Giuseppe Garafolo

At the age of seventeen, chef Garofalo began his culinary career at a local eatery in Torre del Greco, Italy. That experience provided Giuseppe with the incentive to attend culinary school in Avellino, where he learned the techniques that helped develop his creativity with ingredients. In 1999, desiring a new environment, Giuseppe moved to Aspen and was hired as the Executive Chef of Campo de Fiori. Giuseppe’s driving motto, “We will make it happen,” along with Giuseppe’s complete dedication and desire to always grow and be the best he can be, have allowed Campo to remain true to its roots of Italian cuisine.

As top chef at Campo de Fiori, we are so lucky at Campo Catering to have Giuseppe as a guiding and supportive force for menu development and the many logistical details involved in catering. He understands how food will translate into large quantities, purchases all the essential ingredients, and is always available to help us find the best and most concise methods of preparation. Giuseppe is instrumental to our team!
